Are You Kidding Me Lord!?!?

India, 5 days away, and God's ALREADY doing amazing things!!!

So, tonight I took a flight to Dayton, Ohio to spend some time with family and prepare with my 2 friends before we take off for India.

I'm not really one to start up a conversation with a complete stranger, but lately I've wanted to be more out-going in that area. So, to start my flight, I thought it would be good to cause a huge mess of awkwardness by dragging my guitar on an express flight, and realizing it wouldn't fit in the overhead compartment...and then having to find a way to get it back out the door while everyone and their brother was trying to come down the one person aisle to their own seat.

Finally I got it off the plane and ended up in my right seat. I sat next to a guy and I figured I had 75/25 odds that he was Indian. I really wanted to start up a conversation. So I was running through my head how to start this conversation without sounding like an idiot.

So, somehow I started a conversation, and found out that this guy was born and raised in Bangalore, India...where I'm headed to in 5 days! WHAT!?!? Crazy. Then, I find out he and I went to the same college, and we both worked in the Physics Department at Wright State. Crazy! We ended up talking the ENTIRE flight about India and the culture there versus the culture here. I learned so much in that little hour and fifteen minute flight!

It is SO insane how God orchestrates things like that! What are the chances that I sit next to a guy like that on my flight? Not only was he from India, but from Bangalore, he was not only going to Dayton, but the same time as I was, and in the seat next to me. We worked for several of the same people years ago. Are You kidding me!?!?!

It was such an exciting conversation! It's crazy to think that I could have simply put my iPod on and listened to some music for that whole ride and missed out on that opportunity! It makes me wonder how many opportunities like that I have missed out on.

Lord, I can't wait to see what other amazing things You're going to do!!!
