Well, my back is killing me. I spent the past 10 days in Ohio helping my mom do stuff around the house. I lifted a lot of stuff, and now I'm suffering! :) ...but this is good because I have to move out of my apartment Tuesday and Wednesday. ...oh wait, that's NOT good. I have to lift heavy boxes with a sore back. AH! No fun! ...so, today I bought a support back brace, a heating pad, and icy hot.
Anyway. On my way to Ohio, I downloaded this sermon I read by John Piper. I downloaded it on my blackberry while I was driving, which was pretty tricky...but it amazingly worked!
This is the BEST definition of "Worship" that I have ever heard in my life! ...at least "Worship" in the sense of singing songs on Sunday morning. If you've ever wondered about why we sing, or the significance of our singing, or the biblical basis of singing, then you HAVE to listen or read this sermon. I would say listen, because he says a few things not noted in the transcript.
